I have always been interested in the field of close protection. At the moment i am however very ignorant to what it involves, other than reading what info is available on the net and other publications etc etc. I would be interested in the CPT course, but would like to know what else would properly qualify me to take a role as a Close Protection Officer. I assume it would be unfair to say that one could do the CTP course and than take on a role as a bodyguard/protection officer? Or am I wrong???

What are the industry benchmarks as far as wages and renumeration are concerned? If anyone has any info that would be cool.

I'm Iris from the Netherlands, and I'm busy in the security field and I want to become a bodyguard, or better said, close protection officer.
And I'm out of option which Academy I should go to.
So I found ISA Academy, in Sweden (closest from where I live) looks really terrific, and I can't wait to enroll... though some things aren't clear to me..
When I pass this 30 days (only 30 days, seems unbelievable) training, I get a certificate to work as a protection officer internationally?
Because that would be simply amazing....
